The amazingly talented photographer, Liz Seabrook popped round to my studio a few weeks back to take these portraits of me. I'm a very awkward subject to shoot, but Liz did such an great job at making me feel relaxed and comfortable, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

Shoreditch Nails invited me down to their salon recently for a shellac manicure. It's safe to say that I'm now I'm a fully fledge Shoreditch Nails super fan! The salon itself is an Instagram dream - pink? Check. Hanging plants? Check. Wicker chairs? Check.

Founder, Tina and her team are all super lovely and helpful and I was so happy with my first manicure that I booked in again a few weeks later. One of our favourite bloggers, Liv Purvis, is also a big fan of the salon and took the lovely picture below of our Light candle sat on their pretty pink counter.

If you're looking for a quality manicure, pedicure or both, definitely give Shoreditch Nails a try, they come highly recommended,

Back in June, the lovely people at Instagram HQ invited me to talk on the panel at their small business entrepreneur event. Hosted by Instagram co-founder, Mike Krieger and held at the Perseverance Works buildings in Hackney, Evermore was selected to take part alongside three other inspirational business owners that have harnessed the power of Instagram to help grow their companies. I was joined by Sophie - plant enthusiast and founder of botanical styling brand, Geo Fleur; Hugo - co-founder of luxury eyewear brand, Taylor Morris Eyewear (and of course, ex Made in Chelsea star); and Sam - co-founder of Second Shot Coffee, a socially conscious East London coffee spot that gives back to the homeless.

Upon being asked to take part, the first emotions of shock were soon replaced with pride and a sense of achievement. There are SO many small businesses and entrepreneurs doing their amazing thing in London and across the world, it was truly humbling (and mind-blowing) that my little candle business was singled out and chosen to take part.

The event celebrated the role of Instagram in providing a platform and voice for businesses that are just starting out. Without Instagram, I believe that I wouldn't have made half the business connections and collaborations that I have done today. Whether you're a candle business, food photographer, beauty blogger or just a straight-up cat enthusiast, whatever your niche, it's the strong sense of community that makes Instagram so unique, and long may it continue.

We're pleased to announce that we now offer a really exciting wedding favour service via our website. Each candle is packaged in a high quality slip lid tin with the option to chose from four modern designs where you can customise with your names and wedding date.

The favours come in packs of 15 or packs of 150, depending on the size of your wedding.

I even used one of the designs for my own wedding this year! More pictures will be shared very soon...

To photograph our new candle range, we enlisted the help of photographer, Yeshen Venema. The great thing about Yeshen's product photography service is that his studio comes complete with perfect home interior settings and a treasure trove of props and styling pieces to play around with. In need of both new product shots and lifestyle imagery, choosing Yeshen was a no brainer for us and we highly recommend his work. You can check out the services he has to offer here.

The full day of shooting was a total breeze thanks to the help of stylist, Mugdha Sapte, who was on hand to help compose and perfect each shot. Her services are available to book via Yeshen at an additional cost if you feel you would like the help of an experienced stylist on the day.

We couldn't be happier with the new shots and we hope you like them just as much as us. Here's a few of them along with some behind the scenes shots on the day.
